WHERE VENGEANCE GOES BEFORE JUSTICE

Sunday, October 10th, 2010

By Ian Hamilton QC

A great injustice stains our Scottish Law.

In the most important case ever to be brought before our courts an innocent man was convicted.

Evidence was concealed.

Evidence was suborned by bribery.

Perjury was committed to obtain a conviction.

Only an enquiry can clear this stain.

The pusillanimous Scottish Government refuses an enquiry.

A government in thrall to Westminster and Washington denies us the right to know what happened at the Lockerbie trial.

Sign the petition seeking an enquiry. Sign on line. Here is the address.

My computer isn’t taking comments from me. I want to reply to Mr Tomlin’s comment.

When somewhere I said Amerian would be satisfied with the conviction of someone with a black skin I was making a generalisation and it was the Government of the USA I was meaning, not their people. They have as little control over their government as we have. I am not anti the peoples of either England or America or any other country for that matter.

I have this justification for my comment. I had in mind the shooting down of a Syrian civil airliner by USS Vincennes and the subsequent decoration of its CO. The loss of civilian life was equivalent to that lost at Lockerbie. The USA Government may have had in mind that action when they thought it appropriate to seek the conviction of someone ‘with a dark skin’. A Libian was the most appropriate candidate as Libya was then a ‘rogue state’.

But does it matter? The crime was international and Scottish justice has been used to perpetrate vengeance on an innocent man whatever the colour of his skin.

Thank you for your interest.

Devolution has Failed

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

By Ian Hamilton

After twelve years of devolution a quarter of our children live in poverty. Don’t say, ‘Poverty is only relative.’ That isn’t the point. They live without hope. They live in a broken society. Crime abounds. Drugs tempt them. Primary education is poorly funded.

The Labour party once fought for the dispossessed. Now it’s silent. It waited for its day and when its day came it was Thatcherite. It’s a party of greed supported by those it betrays. The SNP also fought greed. Now it is neutered. Like 19th century clan chiefs its leaders have a stake in the British state. They evict those who disagree with them. Even England suffers.

The old England has vanished. Within the M25 a new nation has been born. It worships the GNP. They say if we stop the money men taking millions they’ll go away. Let them! Drive them out! Sweden doesn’t need them: Neither do we. Wealth has never been our native criterion of success. We once took pride in honest poverty. Now we sanction the pursuit of obscene wealth. The SNP should be fighting this mindset, not co-operating with it.

The pursuit of greed has led to the collapse of the monetary system. The SNP wants our vote so they can clear up the mess. This is London’s vomit. The unionists should clean it up. It’s time to seek independence outside the rot of the international banks. The small countries of Western Europe, Norway, Sweden, Finland have done it. So can we. It’s no more dangerous than staying with the hedge fund gamblers. It’s time for the SNP to recover its revolutionary vision. Until it does I want the freedom of being alone.

LOST…………………………………THE OLD SNP

Saturday, October 2nd, 2010

By Ian Hamilton

                    Where has it gone?

Where is the Old SNP: The SNP that set out to build a free Scotland?

It is nothing if it isn’t revolutionary. It should never be a party of government. Now it’s a party of collaborators, preparing to enforce England’s budget cuts. Edinburgh has become Scotland’s Vichy.

Its leaders should be striding up and down the country shouting the odds at Westminster’s malfeasance. It was Westminster that brought down our banks. England sinks and takes us down with it. Where are the people to shout this in every village hall?

Where are the people to shout at the Scotland Act? It forces the elected to take an oath of loyalty to the queen. This is against our democratic rights. I am a European. I am a republican. I object to being governed by trimmers who swear loyalty to a monarch.

Also, I am a trouble maker. Once we were a nation of trouble makers. Once they sent tanks into George Square against us. Now the meek moderate the mild.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.

But what about us who aren’t meek and who want our grandchildren to inherit a free Scotland?

WHERE STANDS THE SNP?
